Barnett Clutch & Throttle Cables
For all you riders out there with cable-operated, non-hydraulic control lines, we now offer Barnett cables. These well-manufactured cables will give an upgraded look and feel to your machine.
Cruiser Applications
Many part numbers are available for cruiser applications. Please advise us at time of purchase of modifications to the bike (for example, aftermarket parts that may impact the fittings to use). Prices vary but many are the same as listed below in the custom made section below (without the custom fees). They are usually able to ship same/next day. They are available in the black vinyl (cheapest), clear coat stainless, carbon coat stainless, and platinum coat stainless to match the aesthetics of your preference. 'High efficency' inner coating is available for most applications and makes the cable operate more smoothly.

Custom Made Applications
These custom made (non-returnable, non-refundable) cables are available in your choice of coating and made to your specifications or can be copied from originals. The custom lines have a $5 per line custom fee in addition to those listed below. Typically, Black Vinyl is $30 for each throttle & idle cables (a.k.a. push & pull cables) & $42 for Clutch cable, while SS is $48 each for throttle/idle & $55 for clutch cable. Estimated costs may vary a bit from the final amount depending on the complexity and fittings used on the lines. Custom lines currently take approximately 3-4 business days to manufacture once specifications are finalized. Faster manufacturing service is available at an extra charge of $15.
We are located in the same city as Barnett, Ventura/CA. Thus, we are able to drop off and pick up orders very easily direct at the manufacturer and make sure that your cables get special attention & consideration. If you plan to send your parts in for Barnett copy then please contact us by email: sales@cyclebrakes.com or by phone 1-800-805-2118 for our street address. Include in the box instructions of your project, bike year/make/model, notes of modifications to the bike (for example, aftermarket parts that may impact the fittings to use) your name & your day-time phone number. We will contact you for payment info upon receipt of your cables.
(Replacements are per manufacturers warrantee and inspection in terms of defects in material or workmanship – no reimbursement for freight – inspection times will vary.)

Re: Barnett Clutch and throttle cables
Hi Shirley! You and I dealt with each other on July 12, 2006 for Barnett clutch and throttle cables. You asked for a jpeg of my bike when I finished it. I wanted to let you know I have entered my first judging competition on October 1, 2006, and won 2 trophies with it! It is a 2001 Aprilia Falco, completely customized, and you are included in that customization! Many thanks for all your professional and FABULOUS help!
Respectfully, Stacy M.
