We do have Galfer Carbon-Metallic and Kevlar pads for most years and now HH for 2005 and up.
The 00-04 Harly part number is FD235, we do not have them in green, but for Harleys only we have a "unique" compound, The Galfer '1651'... This compound is preferred by many riders because it will stop well. They have a shorter lifespan so you may want to pick up an extra set. Retail price is $42 but our current sale price is $33.99. If this is too expensive for you, then Galfer has a semi-metallic compound G1052 which works well for front and preferred for rear application, on sale for $23.99 per caliper.

$5 custom fee per kit. You can order the lines with Universal fittings in Chrome and be able to swap end fittings easily or you can order custom lines and with crimped-on fittings.
IMPORTANT for Harley Davidsons: Please verify if the top banjo fittings are going to be the same size as the lower banjo fittings. The situation is that on older Harleys, they require 12mm head fittings at the master cylinder and 10mm at the calipers and newer models vary. See Galfer custom lines

When building a custom bike, why use the traditional unattractive brake pressure switch? Profab Metalwerks has the CNC-machined alternative, where everything is internal and sealed -- no tabs, no ugly connections, just good looks and functionality. The Profab brake pressure switch can be bolted onto your bike, but comes with a weld-on steel-mounting tab as well. Units are completely assembled with -3 AN fittings, crush washers, stainless steel mounting hardware, and are also available with 1/8-inch npt ports. All brake pressure switches are pressure tested for leaks and performance.

Brembo offers up their high performance rotors in chrome along with chrome calipers and matching caliper adapter bracket. You can purchase them in complete kits for the oversized upgrade or can purchase parts individually or complete for stock sizes.

Will the HD caliper bracket move the stock caliper as well or does he have to purchase the new caliper?

Bracket for 12.6" rotor works with our Brembo caliper only. Replace with the 11.5" floating rotor if you want to use stock caliper.

I want to stick with my stock sized rotor and get a new caliper and bracket - do I have to buy the Brembo Rotor? You can use your stock rotor and purchase just the bracket and caliper.

Prices: What does a total set up for oversizing the rotor cost? These are bike specific but the range is $815-915 per side.

Why should I think about oversized rotors? You will get better braking performance from the larger rotor outer diameter.
|

Why are these so expensive? These are the best products available that we've found (best materials & great looks) and Brembo's reputation is excellent.
